Materials are an important part in the manufacture of twisted-in-wire brushes. Metals available include steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, nickel, silver, titanium and even gold, ranging in size from .002 through .030 in increments of .001. Vegetable fibers include tampico, bassine, palmetto, palmyra and more. Synthetic materials include nylon, polyethylene, styrene, Herox, Tynex, polypropylene and most other man-made fibers.
